The Jiberish Julis was inspired by the original Orange Julius Logo and tag line "A Devilishly Good Drink."
The drink grew out of an orange juice stand opened in Los Angeles in 1926 by Julius Freed and rose to peak popularity in the 50s and 60s. The brand remained relevant through out the 70s and early 80s until their original logo mark was threatened. The Arizona State Alumni Association believed their logo was too similar to their mascot, Sparky the Devil, and forced Orange Julius into a rebrand
