JIBERISH PLAYLIST // COLLABORATOR PICKS - JASON SIEGEL
This month, we linked up with long time friend of the brand and Denver creative, Jason Siegel, to let him curate his own mix of what he's been listening to this season.  Siegel’s work has been woven into the Jiberish story for the better part of two decades and we couldn't be happier to give him the reigns for our newest Collaborator Playlist.
Blending cinematic imagery with a deeply human approach to storytelling, Jason’s work spans commercial campaigns, global music tours, remote expeditions, and luxury hospitality projects.

Over the last decade, Jason’s work has taken him to more than 50 countries across all seven continents, shaping a visual perspective rooted in culture, movement, and connection. Known for moving fluidly between documentary-style storytelling and high-end commercial work, he has worked with artists, brands, and creative teams around the world.

His imagery has been featured by publications including Rolling Stone, National Geographic, Billboard, Hypebeast, Complex, and Highsnobiety, and is currently supported by industry-leading photographic brands including Leica.

Jason’s perspective on photography resonates with us. “Over time, I’ve realized photography has become less about the images themselves and more about what the camera allows me to experience.” Elsewhere, he put it even more simply: “I don’t have all this symbolism behind my work, I want to capture a moment, you know?” That balance feels deeply present throughout his work. The images are honest, observant, and present.

Jason first worked with Jiberish on the Winter '13/'14 lookbook and later on our ODESZA x Jiberish capsule collection. Since then, we’ve worked together a handful of times over the years, each time Siegel has brought his own creative methods, perspective, and editing style to the table to produce some of our favorite brand imagery.

His latest project, Crossing Worlds, created in partnership with Leica Camera USA, continues that same approach - documenting the people, environments, and experiences his work naturally pulls him toward rather than forcing a narrative onto them.

Alongside his photography work, Jason also created Shoot Portraits Not People, an ongoing sculptural project transforming recycled camera equipment into anatomically correct firearm replicas, exploring the uneasy overlap between cameras, violence, observation, and power.
