Daktyl "2AM Black Cab Mix"
For the newest addition to our Jiberish Mixtape series we linked with Daktyl (daktylmusic), a London based multi-instrumentalist producer who just released his debut album on Mad Decent records. What he came back with was the 2AM Black Cab Mix. This mixtape lives in a grimy club in South London where traditional dub plates and bass still dominate the scene. If you are looking for Katy Perry then you've come to the wrong location. 2AM Black Cab Mix does however slide in underground electronic and little known hip hop, transporting you to the late night streets of London.
Daktyl is currently in the US for an album tour followed by further dates around the world. If you are in the Denver area, check out his show on June 10th.
