Sam Zahner x JSKIS - 'Street Rat'
From the heart of the 973 in New Jersey, street rat Sam Zahner grew up making something out of the nothing on the small hills of the ice coast. He later made the journey to higher ground in Colorado enabling him to progress at the speed of thought on bigger terrain.
However he always felt most at home in the streets, where he and his crew of skiing misfits worked the night shift on the prowl for the next nasty urban terrain to challenge and destroy! They lug around more gear than a construction crew, working relentlessly through dark frigid nights on a mission to document skiing in the darkest back streets and alleyways of the snowiest and coldest cities across North America. After a long winter of hungry days and thirsty nights, they edit their footage into a work of art that blow minds and inspire other skiers around the world.
Sam has made a name for himself as one of today's rowdiest street skiers, and if you haven't seen it already, check out his psycho closing segment in the bad ass ski movie, "Banged Up".
