Clothing fit and sizing info:
When we started Jiberish we were really unhappy with the generic sweatshirt t-shirt and sweatshirt "blanks" that were available for wholesale purchase. So immediately we started to draw patterns and create looks that we were more interested in wearing. We spent a few years dialing in these patterns to get them where we wanted and that experience has been invaluable. All of our clothing from denim, to sweatshirts, to tees is made via cut-and-sew production. To help you better understand how this works for each piece we have an explanation below:
Sweatshirts (Crewnecks and Hoodies):
Our clothing runs a bit taller than most garments standard sizing breakdown but they do not run wider though. Our waist ribbing is relaxed so that the sweatshirt holds its shape slightly but does not cinch too much on you. The sizing chart below shows the measurements for these pieces.
Tees
These also run taller but not wider as they increase in size. They would best be characterized as a taller slim fit tee. The tees are made of a very soft cotton blend that will shrink slightly when dried so keep that in mind. The sizing chart below shows the measurements for these pieces.
Vests:
Same sizing as the Sweatshirts except they do not have sleeves.
Denim and Trouzers:
These are a slimmer fit but not "painted on your legs tight". The denim has a small amount of spandex woven in the fabric to allows for them to move with you as you skate/run/squat/stretch/dance/climb/sit. The Trouzers are made of a cotton blend that is similar to a work pant or khaki styled pant. They do not have spandex in them so they actually fit a bit more snug than the denim. The waist size on these pants is based on the hips of the person. So the 32" waist size is actually a little larger than 32" in reality because they are designed to sit on the hips of someone who has a 32" waist. Since your hip measurements are wider than your waist measurements there is a seam allowance to let this happen. If you want to buy our pants with the intention of cinching them tight on your waist you should:
a. not buy them
b. not wear them
Flannels:
These are a more of a work-shirt styled flannel. They are padded and lined so they are a heavier weight shirt that is in between a jacket and a dress shirt. The sizing is similar to our other pieces in that the larger sizes start to become pretty long and you should consult our sizing chart below to confirm how it might fit you. These should never be tucked in under any circumstance. If you have intention of wearing this shirt tucked in you should:
a. not buy them
b. not wear them
