Jiberish's Family of athletes are an eclectic mix of riders from all walks of life. They are the past, present, and future of their sports, doing things their own way and without reservation. They each are a part of Jiberish because they contribute to who we are. Whether it be on the hill or in the design lab, their involvement has been substantial in the growth of the brand from the beginning. And as we look toward the future and the strides we will take as a company, their involvement will be even greater, their opinions more important, and their footprint more visible. UNITED STATES
Tom Wallisch If you don't know you betta' ask somebody.....Tom Wallisch has arrived. The "pretzel man" has migrated from the hills of Pennsylvania to the big stage in skiing. He brought with him an ever expanding bag of tricks along with a signature style that is unmistakeable. Now filming with Level 1 Productions for the 08/09 season, you expect a film segment that will do more than just turn heads. Click here to check out his B-Roll footy shot last season by Level 1 Productions. This is the stuff that did not make the movie. Also check out his edits from last summer on the glacier here edited by the fellas over at 4bi9.
Mike Clarke The Kid. Mike Clarke has graduated from figure skating and has moved in skiing full time. Although he was saddened deeply in having to choose between nailing a tripple lutz or stomping cab 9 tails in the backcountry, Mike has made the best of the situation and this up- and-coming kid is becoming one of the most versitile athletes in skiing. He now resides in Summit County and can be seen often at Keystone lapping the park. Here is a sampling of some of Mike's B-Roll footy from last season courtesy of Level 1 Productions.
Jon Brogan Jon Brogan is the newest addition to the Jiberish team and winner of Level 1 Production's Superunkown V. At the young age of 17 Brogan has already proven he can hang with the crafty veterans of the Jiberish team. Jon is an ideal addition to the Jiberish team with his oozing steeze and absolutely stoked attitude towards life. Check out Brogan's shots in our Jiberish edit from a day and a half at Breckenridge in 2008.
Adam Delorme Adam Delorme reeks of steeze and until recently, he flew under the radar. That all changed once Adam spent a little bit of time with Level 1's Josh Berman and was subsequently featured in "Realtime". He laid down the gauntlet at the late season park shoots at Echo, Keystone, and Eclipse and put together an incredible segment. Check out some of his footage that was not used in the movie here. Now that he will be filming with Level 1 for the entire season, expect very big things.
Matt Walker Matt Walker has arrived. But those that have watched him ski know that the only thing that changed was that he was finally getting his opportunity to show the world what he is capable of. Matt made his presence felt in Poor Boyz "Yeah Dude" by putting together an awe inspiring segment despite missing a chunk of the season with a broken bone in his leg.
Justin Norman Justin is the definition of style, check his 2008 edit and you will see why he fits perfect with the rest of the Jiberish team. Doin' it out of Mt. Hood Oregon, keep your eyes on Norman, you won't be disappointed.
Keri Herman Keri has been shreding with the Jiberish crew for over 3 years now, she has grown in her riding a ton in that time. You may have seen her chillin' on the podium of many major events last year. Keri can be seen crushing the big line at Breck in the winter and Snow Park NZ all summer. If you do happen to see her be cautious she will either be your best friend, draw a mustache on you, or make you look like a chump for not hitting the big line you sissy. Keri is a new addition to the family and our first girl that can hang with the boys and rock a Jiberish size small like it was XXL. CANADA
Corey Vanular From winning the US Open to putting together some of the most progressive and ground breaking film segments in skiing history, Corey has accomplished a lot in his short time in the spotlight. Injuries sidelined him at the US Open last year but he still managed to slay some urban rails early season and had enough footage for the opening segment in Realtime. Imagine what would have gone down if he could have skied the full season... We might get that chance this year as Corey is back and healthy.
Ian Cosco
Ian Kenny Cosco hails from Western Canada but now lives in Salt Lake City, UT. If you see someone slaying handrails in a purple getup there is a good chance that it is Ian. Ian made a name for himself in the US Open Big Air last season by successfully completing the first Straight-Air Lui Kang ever done in a major competition. This unfortunately was not enough to land him on the podium due to some short sighted judging. He has been in Rage Films last 3 movies and will be shooting with them again this season.
EUROPE
Henrik Harlaut As the first addition to our European team we had a very easy choice of who the best fit was, Henrik Harlaut. A young and fast up coming little steeze ball. With mentors like Tom Wallisch and Mickael Descheneaux it is easy to see where Henrik gets his influences. Harlaut is very down to earth and genuinely excited about skiing. Henrik had a huge 07/08 season with big podium wins and made time to bang out a highly anticipated segment with 4bi9 Media and others. Look for big things from Henrik on both the Euro and US scene.
