RJD2 in the house

Big Ups to RJD2 for swinging by the Jiberish LoHi store today to grab some new threads before his show at the Blue Bird tonight.  We had a chance to shoot the shit for a bit and talk about his music, the industry, and reminisce about mid-90's hip hop.  From Deadringer in 2002  to The Colossus in 2010  RJ has always been in front of the curve and his music has been in countless, skate, snowboard, and ski films over the years.

Pretty Lights at the Jiberish LoHi store

Big shout out to the Derek and Cory from Pretty Lights for stopping by the Jiberish LoHi store last night to step up their wardrobe and chill for a minute.  The fellas are in town for 2 shows in Denver at the Gothic and at the Ogden Theatres Friday and Saturday night.  Pretty Lights is in the midst of detonating on the music scene and if you have not yet checked them out (and this would be a time to show restraint if you have not for fear of embarassment), do so.  Sorry to say that if you don't already have tickets already you won't be able to see them in Denver since both shows are sold-out.  They will be following up the Denver shows with gigs at SXSW and also Republic Live in Austin Texas and from there they will be covering the rest of the US through July.   You can see when they come to your town here http://www.prettylightsmusic.com/#/tour.

Mayor John Hickenlooper Cuts Ribbon at LoHi Store

What a week it has been. We finished the inside of the Jiberish LoHi Concept Store, had Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper come do our ribbon cutting, we threw a rager last night at the shop, and then this morning Mr. Hickenlooper stopped in and bought a jacket from us. In between all of that, we have been entertaining clients in the store and banging out tons of new designs and ideas for our next collection.

Jiberish LoHi Concept Store...the transformation.

It has been something we have wanted to do from the beginning.... our own Jiberish Concept store. A place where we could interact with our clients directly, try out new ideas, create limited edition items, and brand ourselves within the community. Even in causal discussions about it years ago, we knew that if we did it, we had to come correct. The proper neighborhood was one of the biggest focuses for us, and we could not have ended up in a better spot. The Jiberish LoHi Concept store is steps from the Platte River, Downtown, and the Denver Skatepark. We are neighbors with The 400, Emage, Unity, Colt & Gray and a host of great restaurants and bars.
